I coloured Breezy Going in with tria markers. The papers I have used are from Bo Bunny and the flowers were made from the same paper. I then just added the raffia, buttons and rhinestones!! I also distressed around all paper edges with walnut stain distress ink!!

Buttons and Bows at CYP!

Hopefully this posts as scheduled as I'm away for a couple of days visiting with a friend and her family!!
Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we would love to see your creations with buttons and bows on them!!! I used this image - Betsy - from the The Stamp Fairy and I really wasn't sure what I was going to create but on Thursday while picking up my boys from their craft class I found some dies and thought one of them would be perfect to make a card with and boy did it turn out better than I thought it would!!

I coloured both Betsy's in with Tria markers and added some kindy glitz to her bell.. I used chalk to make a cloud background then cut out Summer border die from Memory Box a few times using various colours so I could create the look I wanted!! I added some rhinestones to a  couple of the flowers and only stuck the bottom of the border so the flowers could sit out a bit!! I put the cows amongst the flowers, then to finish the card I added the ribbon, found some butterfly buttons in my stash, plus added a few extra buttons down the bottom then added the SU sentiment and put rhinestones under that!! This will be perfect for my Auntie who loves cows but her birthday isn't until July next year..:) At least I'll be prepared!!!
That's it from me but head on over to the CYP blog to check out what the rest of the DT have created and to see who our fabulous sponsors are this week!!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Fun with Shapes and More - Include an animal
* Pattie's Creations - Anything Goes
* Ruby's rainbow - BINGO ( bottom line)

I loved colouring this sweet image, so many things I could 3D and bring the image to life!! I coloured her in with tria markers, then added kindyglitz to her wings and crystal effects to the spots on the mushroom!!. I added some rhinestones and pearls to the middle of the flowers also! I inked around the edge of the image with pink chak ink! To assemble the card I used yellow card as my base. I then found some pink and purple papers in my scrap stash!! To highlight the spots on the pink paper I added kindyglitz!! I added ribbon behind the image criss crossed, then added all the embellishments - flowers, die cut flourishes, buttons, butterfly, rhinestones and the dragonfly charm tied with ribbon that I coloured purple!! And to finish it off I added the SU seniment!! I do wish that I had of taken a photo side on so that you could see everything popping up!!!

Logan used some papers from my scrap stash.. Coloured in Ghost with his markers and left the ghost white cos  as he said "ghosts are white!" LOL... he then went through my embellishments drawer and found a  skull and bones chipboard shape which he left uncoloured, some buttons, a felt star and the spiderweb ribbon... He then asked mt to look for a Halloween stamp so I found this one on a kids site but forgot to write down the name of it!!   And the flower was an added extra when we went outside and took a photo. Who was I to say anything, after all it's Logan's creation!!!

A Sketch with Sassy Studio Designs

Time for a new sketch at Seems a little Sketchy!!! This fortnight we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs!! I used this SSD image - Lager Pin Up which I have had for ages and never had the chance to colour up!!
I rotated the sketch around 90 degrees  anti clockwise. I coloured Lager Pin Up with Tria markers and you can't really see it but the beer mug has crystal effects all over it to give it a glass look.  The papers are all from my scraps stash and  kept the embellishments to a minimum..

Now this is for a male friend of mine do you think it's too girly??? Would love to know your opinion because if you don't think it's right for a bloke then I won't give it to him!! Thanks in advance!

BINGO at Craft Your Passion!!

Another week and another challenge here at Craft Your Passion!! Thanks for joining us last week for our Blast from the Past challenge!! We had so many beautiful entries..
For this weeks challenge we would you love to play some BINGO with us!! So choose a row of three and let your creativity run wild!!  We are being sposored by The Paper Shelter this challenge and I used the three images we were kindly given to create with!!
I had a great time making these but almost forgot I had to make them using the BINGO board!! In fact I did forget and after I'd finished all the cards I had to go back and make a few adjustments..:)
OH well, only a minor issue!! Anyway, here are my cards!!

Right line down - yellow, border punch, buttons
This is Happy Times - Baseball and I coloured him in with Tria markers. I followed the Sketch Saturday sketch for some inspiratio. nI used a  yellow card base, used a border punch on the blue CS then added some Kaszazz paper. I then just added the baseballs, the sentiment and the star buttons!!

Middle line down - bling, ribbon, distress!!
This is Learning is Fun and she is coloured in with Tria markers. You can't see it but I used a burgundy coloured CS as a base then added the two Sb papers.. The bottom one is from Kaszazz and the top one is from Basic Grey! I distressed around the edges with aged mahogany and chipped sapphire distress ink. I also distressed around the blue cardstock that the image is on with  distressing tool!!  I added the ribbon which is from SU then finished off the card with some rhinestones.

Middle line across - Pink, ribbon, border punch
This is Magic Bubble Bath and she is coloured in with Tria markers. I coloured an extra pair of wings and added kindyglitz so that theu were 3D and also coloured up an extra jug and soap and stuck on foam mount! This picture looks crooked doesn't it.. bad photography I think, not bad assembly..LOL!! Anyway, the SB paper is from Kaisercraft, I punched out a border, then went crazy with embellishments - ribbon, die cut flourish, flowers, rhinestones and buttons. And to give the bubbles a bit more of an effect I covered them all with crystal effects!! Oh and I did some faux stitching around the edge of the pink card stock but you can't really see it!!

Well that it's from me, don't forget to head on over to the CYP blog to check out the rest of the creations from the DT!

Digi Bell's Post -Click

It's half past midnnight here and I was just about to go to bed when I remembered I hadn't done my Digi Bell's Post!! So this is going to be super quick!!
I used "Click!" for this card which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.
It's another CAS card...I really do love them at the moment and not just because I'm time poor... :)
I coloured Click in with Tria markers and I've used glitter pen on the flowers and I put rhinestones in the middle of each flower!! I used paper from my Scraps stash, added some ribbon, rhinestones and the camera buttons which finished off the card perfectly!!!  OOh and I'm nt sure if you can see it but I tied a butterfly charm onto the ribbon as well!!

Well sorry it's short but I really must go to bed!!

Blast from the past at CYP!

I am seriously dragging my tail yet again. This week I am hoping to get on top of things with the boys being at kinder and school for a full week...Todays'challenge at Craft your Passion is Blast from the Past - so pick a challenge that CYP have run over the last year and use that theme (But NOT an Anything Goes challenge)!! We are sponsored by Kenny K , DRS Designs, Stitchy Bear and The Robin's Nest for this challenge.. I made two cards and both of them are CAS because I made them after being at a wedding and having a few alcoholic beverages.. But I think they are ok! :)
My first card is using a Kenny K image - Rock Chick
Now this card really is CAS! The "brick" paper is from Fab Scraps which I distressed around the edges and tore it on the side, I then printed the graffiti onto it which was a digi from Beyond the Fringe Crafts... I then coloured Rock Chick in with Tria markers and popped her up on 3D dots and tada card complete!! I actually love the way it turned out!! I did try to add some embellishments but it just didn't look right!!

For this second card I used the sentiment "Bad Day Fishing"from Floppy Latte.
I had a few images I could have used for this but the way Edwin is sitting I thought this one matched the sentiment the best!! So I found the this blue card already folded ready to be used!! I found some brown and orange scraps of CS, sat Edwin (who was coloured with Tria markers) on top of his log and placed him on top of the CS!!! I then stamped some fish around the rest of the space on the blue CS and added the "bubbles". I think this one turned out ok too but would not recommnd making cards after drinking for a few hours :)
If you haven't already come from the CYP blog then head on over there to seee what the rest of the DT have created and don't forget to come back on Friday for our Blog Hop!!!

A Wedding Book Card!

My week is back to normal this week after the boys having days off last week so hopefully I can make use of my time and get ahead with my DT stuff!! I actually made two cards last night after being at a wedding and drinking a little bit more than I had planned.. They are very CAS but I think they turned out ok!!! I'll be posting them tomorrow so you can decide!!
Today I have a book card to show you that I made for the wedding yesterday!!  I didn't really decorate the inside but really love how the front turned out!!

The front of the book card!
Angled view

Inside view!
Another angled view!!
I bought the "Loving Bride and Groom"stamp from the Magnolia stand at Paperific last weekend (wish I had of bought more - LOL)
I followed the tutorial on Tina's Magnolia blog!! I used Pearl bling cardstock to make the bookcard!! I inked around the edges of all the cardstock layers with pink chalk ink!! I embossed one layer and cut out an oval shape for another! I coloured the image in with tria markers. I tehn added some metal brads (the bird and heart), the flowers and then used my big shot to cut out a tag and stamp the sentiment on (which was from Stampin' Up).. To finish it off I added the ribbon and a metal charm!! I am so happy with the way it turned out!!! Hopefully the bride and groom will love it to!!!
I am entering this into the following challenges:

Bell Horses Li'l Cowboy - Digi Bell's post

I'm back again (on time) with another Digi Bell's Post!! Today I decided to use an image that I haven't used for awhile- Bell Horses - Li'l Cowboy which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's digital Collection.
Another CAS card... seems to be my theme at the moment but I really didn't think this needed to be weighed down with embellishments or patterned paper!!! I inked around the edges of the white card stock, used my new scalloped squares die to make a border around the image, punched out some stars, added a bit of ribbon, and raffia with a charm and a button and finished it off with the metal sentiment!!! I coloured li'l Cowboy with tria markers!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Sketch Time at Seems a Little Sketchy

I'm on a roll at the moment... cards made on time and pre scheduled to post on time... (I wish...LOL.. I am making cards on a need to be done basis at the moment but hoping to get back into the swing of things now that the sun is shining..
It's time for challenge 21 at Seems a Little Sketchy and this fortnight we are sponsored by My Heart Pieces. I chose to use Party Time and this is what I came up with:
I kept this card pretty simple too!! I used papers from my scrap stash (I think it's Kaisercraft paper though). I added some ribbon and twine and buttons and finished the card off with some punched out stars !! I coloured the image in with Tria markers and put Crystal effects on the bottle and glass to give it the glass effect!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
* Pan Pastel UK - All about Stripes
* The Squirrel and the Fox - One for the Men
* The Secret Crafters - Animal Antics

Don't forget to head over to the SALS BLog to check out the sketch and to see what the rest of the Creative DT have come up with!!

Flower Power at Craft Your Passion

Hello, it's a beautiful sunny day here in Melbourne, so the washing is out, the doors are open and th spring cleaning can be completed! Of course that is after i get my posts done...LOL!!
So today is a new week and a new challenge at Craft Your Passion!! Our challenge this week is Flower Power, so we would like to see a flower or flowers IN your image. We are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles this time around and I used Girl smelling flowers to create my card!!!

I kept this card fairly simple cos I wanted the image to be the main part of the card!!! I coloured it in with Tria Markers and added glitter pen highlights to the  poppies and kindyglitz to the middle of all the flowers!! I then just added some embellishments to finish off the card including rhinestones, ribbon, flowers and diecut butterflies and flourishes. I finished off the card with the thinking of you sentiment from Stampin Up.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* No Matter Which Challenge - Diecuts/Punches
* One Stitch at A Time - Use a Digi
* Daring Cardmakers - Focus on Flowers
* Polka Doodles - Flowers
* Southern Girls Challenge - All about the Flora
