Celebrate with Southern Girl's!

Hopefully this has posted as scheduled as I am away on school camp with my son for a couple of days!
It is great that you have stopped by today as we are celebrating at Southern Girls Challenge as this is our 100th challenge. So both teams have created something for our "Celebrations" challenge using images from our sponsor:

Lacy Sunshine

Sorry about the poor quality of photo, took it at night and have not had another chance to retake the photo. I coloured the image in with tria markers and added kindyglitz. I embossed the purple cardstock with happy birthday, die cut the heart banner and cut it in two and added hearts to the side of the image. I finished off the card with the rik rak, buttons and rhinestones!
I hope that you will join us at Southern Girls this challenge and share your celebration cards!

Christmas At Elisabeth Bell's World!

Wow, can you believe Christmas is only one month away.... My Christmas shopping is nearly all done but not ready in any other way :(
So it is time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World and this month we would love to see your Christmas creations featuring any of the amazing Elisabeth Bell images.
I created a card using Christmas Light which was once sold at Whiff of Joy:
This didn't turn out at all like I had planned but I still love it! I coloured Christmas Light in with tria markers. I originally had her mounted on a diecut oval but I just wasn't happy with it. So instead I stuck her on foam dots then placed the rhinestones around her. I didn't have white cardstock to make  a folded card so instead cut up these pieces of white card stock and joined them with eyelets and ribbon. To finish off the card I added the Merry Christmas sentiment and the buttons and inked around the edges of the card!.
I hope that you will join us this month at Elisabeth Bell's World! Be sure to stop by the Elisabeth Bell's World Blog for all the challenge details, including the prize and to see the DT's amazing creations!

Baby It's Cold Outside!!

It's time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and our theme this week is "Baby It's Cold Outside". You don't necessarily have to make a Christmas creation, anything that represents the cold - an image, embellishments, papers etc!
This week we are sponsored by
Delicious Doodles

Here is my creation

I coloured Snow Cuddles in with tria markers and added kindyglitz to the fur on her coat. The paper was from my scrap stash (which never seems to end, lol), then added the ribbon, the snowflakes (both buttons and diecuts and the big button! I really love the way it turned out.
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft your Passion.

Sketch 78 At Seems a Little Sketchy!

Another fortnight has flown, so it's time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy. This fortnight we are sponsored by

Here is this fortnights sketch;

And here is my take on the sketch
I coloured Christmas Surprise in with tria markers and added kindyglitz to her fur trimmings. The papers are from a Kaisercraft christmas paperpad, then I just added the buttons and ribbon.
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Seems a Little Sketchy.

Pumpkins or Turkeys at Craft Your Passion!

Hi. It's time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we would like to see your creations with a Pumpkin or a Turkey on it! I'm guessing it's coming up to Thanksgiving  soon. We don't celebrate that here in Oz so I decided to choose a halloween image from our sponsor this week:
Bugaboo Stamps

The base of my card is embossed spotty paper from my scrap stash. I then added the orange paper to lift the image off the black and grey. I coloured the image in with tria markers and I coloured in the cute little halloween characters twice so they could pop off the page. I then added the ribbon and the buttons (which I actually thought were purple till I saw the photo).
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

Something Beginning with B at Craft Your Passion!

Time for a new challenge and for a change I have been totally organised with this card made last week and now a pre-scheduled post... I wonder how long I can keep this up..lol
Anyway, the challenge at Craft Your Passion this week is Something Beginning with B. Our sponsor this week is Diane's Daydream Designs.
Now being that I made this card at 1am and thought I was making it for a different challenge I had to add a couple of B things and I'm probably clutching at straws... So my B things are Bling (rhinestones) and Buttons (The little snowflakes).
I used this pre-coloured image from  Diane's Daydream Designs as well as the small buckets of snowballs. I also used the DDD sentiment. I  then added the diecut snowflakes with some Bling, added the buttons, then used distress stickles on the Snowballs.
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion!

Christmas Bells at The Digi Bell's and another sneak peek!!

Hello, it is my turn again to post over on The Digi Bell's Blog. I have actually been a bit organised this past week so I had this card finished yesterday rather than sitting up to 2am making a quick card!
Before I share my card I thought I would share another sneak peek from Lissy Bee's upcoming new stamp release! We are very excited about Elisabeth Bells new venture (Lissy bee Stamps)  and you will be too when you see the adorable images that will be released on the 15th Dec!
So here it is:

Now onto my card for my post today!

I have used Christmas Bells again this week and again used some freebie elements from Michele R Designs. I coloured Christmas Bells from Elisabeth Bells digital collection (home of all things adorable)! with tria markers and used distress stickles on the fur collar of her jacket, dress and boots! The tags, sentiment and tickets are from Michele R Designs.I then finished off the card with some buttons and ribbon and used crystal effects on the holly on the tag and the sentiment! I also added some rhinestones and kindyglitz for some sparkle!.
Well I am hoping to get an early night before work tomorrow so I will sign off for now!

Bright and Sparkly at Craft Your Passion!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and our challenge this week is Bright and Sparkly. We are sponosred by

Inky Impressions

I used this sweet image from Inky Impressions and coloured her in with tria markers. I added distress stickles and kindyglitz to the image for the sparkly part of the challenge! I also coloured the stars on her headband with glitterpen. All the papers are from a Kaisercraft Christmas Paper Pad, I then added the snowflakes with the rhinestones.
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft your Passion!

Seems a Little Sketchy!

Well I am really and truly exhausted! After working today, I am now host to 6 children for my sons birthday. He's having a sleepover and they are finally settled and watching a movie! I feel like bed , have not stopped all day, until now!
Anyway, in amongst preparing for today, I managed to get my DT cards made. So at Seems a Little Sketchy we do have a new sketch for you
and we are sponsored by

And here is my take on the sketch:
I coloured Gingerbread Boy with Candy Cane with tria markers. I used papers from an old Kaisercraft paper pad,  then added the snowflakes with rhinestones and the buttons. I don't think it needed anything else so decided to leave it!
I hope that you will join us this fortnight at Seems a Little Sketchy.

Christmas Bells!

Hello everyone, hope you are not all in a sugar coma after Halloween festivities last night! We don't really celebrate it here in Australia but I took my boys out to trick or treat and they came home with lots of sweet treats to eat!
It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's Blog today and I created something for Christmas using Elisabeth Bell's Christmas Bells digi which you can get from her Digital Collection.

I created this cupcake gift box using a template from MicheleR Designs. I'm not quite sure how it does up at the top so apologies. All the elements were part of the set besides Elisabeth Bell's Christmas Bells.  I coloured Christmas Bells in with tria markers and added some distress stickles to the cuff of her snow cape and dress and I added kindyglitz to all the dots on the box! I think I am going to be making this for teachers presents this year!
Enjoy your weekend!
