Show your Sparkle!!

It is time for a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge and this fortnight our theme is Sparkle. Yep get out that glitter and jazz up your creation so that it shines. We are sponsored by

Here is my card using Concetta Kilmers Serenity
I decided to use the pre-coloured image as I didn't think my colouring would do the image any justice. I die cut the image out, then found this sparkle paper in my paper stash which matched the image and the challenge theme perfectly. I cut some butterflies from the paper to add to the card for some dimension, and finished off the card with the ribbon and rhinestones.
I hope that you will join us this fortnight at Southern Girls challenge.

Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion!

It is time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and as you may have heard the challenge is always Anything Goes.... exciting news for you guys.
We have a new sponsor this challenge:

Unfortunately I was not able to get one of their images so I used a Polka Doodles image for this challenge! This was my son's birthday card for his 10th birthday a couple of weeks ago.
I used the new Work and Play Collection 8 cd from Polka Doodles and used one of the Design sheets so everything was pre-coloured. I should have taken a photo on another angle as the image of the guitar boy is layered. This is a fab cd collection and I know I will be using it a lot.
I hope that you will join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

Hearts are all the flutter at Elisabeth Bell's World!

It's time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World and this months challenge is Hearts. DT member Mary Lou is sponsoring us this month so the lucky winner will be receiving 2 Elisabeth Bell Whimsy Stamp Images.
I used Little Rapunzel from Elisabeth Bell's digi collection for my card, she was already coloured up so that is how I came to using the colours for the papers! The heart papers were from scrap stash, I die cut the hanging hearts and added the rhinestones and I found the sentiment in my craft drawer so not too sure where it is from.
(oh I just noticed a bit of paper stuck to my card - sorry)
Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT blog's for more inspiration.

Li'l Lynda's Piano Forte!

It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog so I have used an image I haven't used from quite awhile Li'l Lynda's Piano Forte! You can get her from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection along with her two brand new images and accessories - Valentine Angel Reading and Valentine Angel Blowing Kisses. Have you done the hop over at The Digi Bell's? If you do then you can have a chance to win one of these adorable new images!
I coloured Li'l Lynda's Piano Forte in with my (near dry) tria markers then inked around the edge of the image. The papers are from the new Polka Doodles Work and Play collection 8 as is the sentiment. I then just added the string and buttons!

Elisabeth Bell's Digi release and January Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the first Digi Bell's Blog Hop for 2015. We had a bit of  break so that we could promote Lissy Bee stamps but we are now back with not one but two new images and two accessories. So before I share my creation let's get the formalities out of the way. If you have arrived from Linda's blog then you are on the right track, if not, then head on back to The Digi Bell's Blog so that you don't miss a thing.
So you would have seen the images already and know that they are previously from Whiff of Joy, but now you can get them as a digi from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.
I decided to make two cards using Valentine Angel Reading and Valentine Angel Blowing Kisses.

I coloured both images in with tria markers and added kindyglitz to the wings on both of them. I also used red glitter pen on the hearts. I used digital papers from Polka Doodles then just added kindyglitz and ribbon.
That's it from me, so now you can head on over to Sebrina's blog where you will be dazzled with her gorgeous creation.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and don't forget to leave a comment on all the DT blogs for your chance to win one of these new Elisabeth Bell digi images.

Little Rapunzel.

Happy New Year!!! Can you believe it's 2015? I still can't and we are already four days into the year! It's going to be another fast year I am predicting. I hope that you had a fun but safe new year! I had a quiet night at home with my boys!
I must apologise to you and my DTfor missing my Elisabeth Bell's World Post on Christmas Day! The last month was a bit of a blur and with the last week of school and my son's dance cencert i just totally forgot! I am hoping to be a lot more organised this year with one less DT committment.
This year at the The Digi Bell's will be filled with adorable new releases and of course the brand new Lissy Bee stamps range will be added to.
So to kick start the year I have a CAS card to share (mainly cos it's school holidays here and I have spent the past week cleaning my house and entertaining my children.) with you over on the Digi Bell's Blog!
I have used Little Rapunzel from Elisabeth Bell's digi collection.
I coloured Little Rapunzel in with tria markers , paper pierced around the card, then added the sentiments and rhinestones.
