Miss You, Love You!

Hello, Hope you are enjoying your weekend!! I spent the day driving my kids to birthday parties, one had aparty to go to at a fire station ( the kids had a ball) and my other son went to my nieces rainbow dance party!! Needless to say they are both very tired!! Me too after all the driving around..lol!
Anyway, it is my turn to post on the Digi Bell's blog. I used Elisabeth Bell's sweet Love You, Miss You which you can get from her digital collection HERE.
I coloured Love You, Miss You in with tria markers. I inked around the image with pink and brown ink. I die cut out the scalloped square, used some papers from my scrap stash then added all the embellishments - made some flowers using my flower punches,  used parts of some die cut flourishes and borders, added the twine and button and rhinestone's and pearls!!
I hope that you stop by the Digi Bell's blog everyday for more inspiration!!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
* Elphine House - Punch It
* Divas by design - Flowers
* Simon says Stamp - April showers and/or spring flowers

April Showers at Polka Doodles

Wow, where have the past two weeks gone.. My boys have been on school holidays for the past two weeks so I haven't been around much. And we have a busy weekend planned with kids birthday parties so I am quietly looking forward to school starting back on Monday!!
Anyway, it's time for a new challenge at PolkaDoodles and the theme is April showers!!! It's not the right season for me as it is autumn here in Australia but none the less I had fun putting together this card!
There are some fab prizes on offer as usual from PolkaDoodles so head on over to the challenge blog HERE to see all the details of the challenge and all the fabulous DT creations.

 I've gotta say, this turned out better than I had imagined!! I just love using all the digital images and papers from the Polka Doodles CD Rom's and putting them all together both digitally and still cutting and decorating!!  I used papers from the All Around and Everywhere CD. I used a pre-coloured image of Noah from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD Rom and I added some sparkle to his umbrella. I then added the pre-coloured rainbow from the Studio 12 CD Rom - Picknix Collection 1 and the sentiment is from Double Sprinkle of Kraft CD. To finish off the card I added the rik rak and buttons!!
Well that's it from me, few cards to make tonight!! Hope that you can join us this week at Polkadoodles and don't forget for all your crafty goodies head on over to the Polkadoodles store, there are some great bargains to grab!!!

Spring has Sprung....

Well not here cos it's now Autumn in Australia but this card definitely is all about Spring!! I just wanted to quickly share this card that I made using a Crafty Sentiments freebie for their yellow Green plus one other colour challenge this week!! I'm only just sneaking it in so the photo is not great as it is night time here! But I had to enter the challenge as I just love how it has turned out!!
I coloured this sweet bear in with tria markers and went over the flowers with a glitter pen! I embossed the yellow paper then punched some holes for effect. I then diecut some flowers and added a rhinestone to each of them! i added some buttons and pearls and to finish off the card I added some diecut butterflies. (I coloured some white cardstock with tria markers so they matched the image).
Thanks to Crafty Sentiments for the freebie!!

Monochromatic!!

Time for a new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey and this fortnight we would like to see your monochromatic creations! Monochromatic means that you only use one color, but as many shades of that color as you want.  We areb sponsored by Digital Delights and they have offered a fab prize for the winner of this challenge!!
I used Fancy from Saturated Canary, and I just loved colouring her in!

Fancy is coloured in with tria markers and I added rhinestones to her hair and used a glitter pen flicked through her dress!! I didn't think this card needed much cos the image is so beautiful so all I did was emboss the card with a Tim Holtz embossing folder and die cut some flowers and added rhinestones to the middle.
I hope that you can join us at Paper Crafting Journey this fortnight.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
* Addicted to Stamps - Addicted to CAS
* Papertake Weekly- Anything Goes
* Natalie and Amy's Challenges - Monochromatic
* Stamp and Create - Use at least one die cut
* Pile it On - Handmade Flowers

Sketch 36 at Seems a Little Sketchy

It;s time for a new at Seems a little Sketchy. This challenge is sponsored by QKR Stampede.

I used Bithday Girl for my card and for a change made no changes to the sketch!!
My papers are from my scrap stash and I coloured in the birthday image with tria markers. Again I need to apologise for my colouring - my markers need refilling desperately!! I kept the embellishments to a minimum only using rhinestones!!
I hope that you can join us this week at Seems a little Sketchy!
