Elisabeth Bell at Craft Your passion

Hello and welcome to another Craft Your Passion challenge!! It's also my turn to post on the Digi Bells Blog so I decided to combine the two as I didn't have a specific image to use for Craft Your Passion!! We are sponsored by

The theme for this weeks Craft Your Passion challenge is Well Read so we would like to see you things like  - Add text in the form of backing papers, background stamps, reading themed images, sentiment as focal point, etc. You could even make a bookmark or a page with journaling.

I used this sweet little girl again - Little Friends by the wonderfully talented Elisabeth Bell which you can get from her digital collection. I coloured her in with tria markers!!!! I decided to do an all white card which I think turned out beautifully. To fit with the theme but stick to my white on white, I embossed a text stamp behind little friend!! If you look carefully or click on the image you will see it!! I used an eyelet border punch and my new Blooming High die I got for my birthday. Then added the ribbon and pearls!!
I hope that you can join us at Craft your Passion this week!!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
* Sweet Stampin - Anything but Birthday
* Totally Gorjuss - Ribbon and Pearls

Sketch 38 at Seems a Little Sketchy!!

It's time for a new challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy and this fortnight we are sponsored by Kenny K Downloads.

I used Freshman from Kenny K Downloads on my my card!!
I coloured Freshman in with tria markers. I used papers from my scrap stash. I used a eyelet border punch then put some green ribbon behind it!! (mainly because I couldn't find the right green paper I wanted!!) I then stamped out a heart on purple cardstock with embossing ink and added clear embossing powder!! I got a couple of new dies for my birthday so I used a flourish but chopped it up and used it on different parts of the card!! I then added the sentiment and rhinestones!!!
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Seems a Little Sketchy..

Birthdays with Bling at Polka Doodles!!!

Goodevening all, or should I say morning, or perhaps afternoon? It does get confusing sometimes with all the time differences around the world especially when clocks jump forward or back for daylight savings...
So it's time for a new challenge at Polka Doodles and I chose the theme Birthdays with Bling because today is MY BIRTHDAY! My boys gave me breakfast in bed, and gave me my presents then my youngest wrote on a card and asked me for some money!!! He then gave me the card and money, said happy Birthday then said, "now you can buy us those green drinks for dinner"! Isn't he just the cutest?? I had a few friends over last weekend to celebrate, so tonight my boys and I are having take away for dinner (which is a treat for us) and watching Wreck it Ralph!! Then tomorrow I will spend the afternoon with my sister!!
So you are here to see what I created for this week's challenge - Birthdays with Bling!! I bought a watch at a market over Christmas and it didn't come in a box so I found one lying around the house and put the watch in it... Then we were asked at Polka Doodles if we would start doing tutorials for all our fabulous followers so I decided to deccorate the box and boy did I excel!! I just love it and al though I could reuse it I don't know that I want to.. I just love the way it turned out!!!

This is one view!!

And another!!

Quixotic Paperie :: Rubber Stamping & Paper Crafting Supplies

I decided to join a couple of Elisabeth Bell digi images  - Little Rapunzel and Little Friends together to make this beautiful card.
I used papers from Kaszazz and used those colours to colour my image!! I woud have liked a more pastel orange but don't havae one so it didn't uite turn out as I would have liked!! I coloured the imag in with tria markers, then added the ribbon, flowers, the spiral die cut and the button and charm!!  And to finish it off added the sentiment!!! I just thought these two looked perfect together, sisters just hanging out...
I hope that you can join us this month, using your Elisabeth Bell images (from any company as long as you link back to where the image is from). Look forward to seeing all your spring creations!!!

Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend!!!

This post is a day late and I apologise to my design team and to my followers!!! Last week was a bit crazy with my son not well and birthday celebrations!! Anyway, I have a quick card to show you for our new challenge at Craft Your Passion which is "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend". As the birthstone for April is Diamond we want you to think diamond shapes, gems, ladies dressed in their finest bling etc. We are sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and the Robin's Nest this week! Here is my card:

I have used an image and papers rom Polka Doodles. This is Fredericka - Debutante which is pre-coloured (and I have cropped it) I then used some transparent ribbon (not sure what it's actually called but it looks glitzy), then just added the flowers and rhinestones. The ring around fredericka is actually a ring of diamonds which was perfect for this challenge!!! It's amazing what I have amongst all my digi images - LOL!!
Well that's it from me!!! Again I am sorry this is late!! Head on over to the Craft Your Passion blog and check out the rest of the DT gals work!!

Isn't she adorable, I know I am going to be using her a lot!
Here is the card I created with her!!
Now this card may seem like it didn't take very long to make but let me tell you, it took me ages!! I really wanted to use this paper so I tried to make the cad based around it but everything I tried just didn't look right, so after a couple of hours I finally decided to keep it pretty simple. So I added the yellow strip of cardstock and the pink ribbon, then added "Little Frëends"which I coloured with tria markers!! I then just added all the buttons. And because I needed it , I added some kindyglitz to parts of the patterned paper! I then just added the sentiment to finish off the card which is from Make it Crafty! Well that's it from me!! It's now time to hop along to Wendy's Blog where you will find an absolutely stunning creation!! Thanks for joining us and don't forget if you get lost along the way then head back to the Digi Bell's Blog. Enjoy the hop!!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Use a Sentiment at Paper Crafting Journey!!

Time for a new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey and this fortnight we are sponsored by

I used a glitter pen on the balloon but that's not showing up in the picture!!
