Anything Goes at Crafty Sentiments!!

A new challenge has started at Crafty Sentiments and this week it's an easy challenge - ANYTHING GOES. As always a fabulous prize is up for grabs so I hope that you can join us!
I made a card using Billy the romantic!!! I never have enough boy cards so thought  this challenge was the perfect time to make one!
I coloured Billy the Romantic in with tria markers. I used papers from a new paper pack that I bought from a recent craft show from Little yellow Bicycle. I die cut out the oval, then added the stars, buttons and twine with the sentiment. I love the colours I used on this card (which I got from the papers)
I hope that you can join us this week at Crafty Sentiments

Glitter and Gloss at Craft Your Passion!

A new challenge starts today at Craft Your Passion and this week would like you to get out your glitter and gloss!! Yep that's our theme:

The theme is...Glitter & Gloss
You must use glitter and/or gloss of some kind on your projects. As this doesn't always show in photos we'd be grateful if you tell us what you've used ;)

We are sponsored by Inky Impressions this week and we got to play with a couple of Inky Impressions images!
I used Angelica Crafting.
I decided to make a bookmark and used lots of scraps, and crafty things! I coloured Crafting Angelica in with tria markers. I got my scraps stash out and then just cut, punched and tore and decorated the bookmark! Then I went through my embellishments and added bits and pieces, made up the sentiment, then added kindyglitz to the string of hearts, the diamonds on the paper and the hearts on the card and on her headband and added crystal effects (gloss) to the sentiment and the craft tin!!
I know this is going to be a popular challenge cos who doesn't use a  bit of glitter or gloss on their creations!! I look forward to seeing what you create for Craft Your Passion this week!

Significant Birthday or Occasion at Polka Doodles!

Sorry it's been a bit quiet on my blog this week! I am busy creating for all my DT commitments next week! I just wanted to pop in and let you know that a new challenge has started at Polka Doodles today.
The challenge theme is:
Significant Birthday or Occasion

The twist to the challenge is that you can't make a card - you can make anything else but just no cards and if you're stuck for inspiration, just look at the Design Team creations over on the Polka Doodles blog! The girls will certainly inspire you with what they have made!

The winner of this challenge will get a DigiWorld Download.  Please don't forget our rules - they are at the bottom of the current challenge post on the Polka Doodles blog - otherwise you won't be in with a chance to win!
I hope that you will join us this week at Polka Doodles!!

Favourite Fall Colours or Patterns at Crafty Sentiments (GDT)

Wow, it's been a busy day for me today... started an Education Support Course today which I have been wanting to do for awhile but boy was it tiring sitting in a classroom for 6 hours trying to take in a heaps of new information!!! I'm sure it will get easier as the weeks go on especially once my oldest son gets back to school after nearly a week off!
Anyway, it is Tuesday which means time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments! I can't believe how quick my time as GDT has flown but I do still have a few more weeks before my term ends.. So for this week's challenge we would like to see you use your favourite fall colours or patterns!!
I chose to use Tobey the Golfer for this challenge..
I coloured Tobey up with tria markers. And I found this fabulous Autumn Bo Bunny paper at my local craft store. So I just tore the base dp and added buttons and twine, die cut some ovals to put behind Tobey and then cut out the leaves from the other Bo Bunny dp and put it around him!!
That's it from me.. Hope that you can  join us this week at Crafty Sentiments!

Merry Weather at The Digi Bell's!

Goodevening, it's my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog and today I'm sharing a black and white card! I have used the super cute Merry Weather from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.

I decided not to colour the image in for something a little different! I wanted to use the black flower that I found in my stash, so I cut that in half, then I stamped a flourish twice behind the image, then mounted the image on to black cardstock. I then added twine, rhinestone and some kindyglitz to finish off the card.
If you would like this adorable image for yourself or any other of Elisabeth Bell's digital images then head on over and check out her digital collection...
That's it from me, I'm off to bed.. Starting a new course tomorrow, so need to get organised!

Do You Believe in Fairies at Craft Your Passion!

It's Monday which means it's time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion. This week we are sponsored by A Day for Daisies and The Paper Shelter. And as you may have guessed our challenge is "Do You Believe in Fairies?"

I used Strawberry Cake Birthday Fairy from A Day for Daisies. I coloured in with tria markers! I coloured the cake in with twinkling H20's (which I haven't used for a long time). I added kindyglitz to the fairy's wings and to the sparkles on the cake! . I stamped strawberries onto vellum and coloured them in to make my own designer paper! I then added some ribbon and the strawberry charm! For a bit of dimension I put some of the strawberries on foam tape.
I look forward to seeing your fairy creations this week!!

Sketch 47 at Seems a Little Sketchy!

A new challenge has started today at Seems a Little Sketchy and this fortnight we are sponsored by The Robin's Nest and Robyn's Fetish.
Here is the sketch we have to follow this  fortnight:
and here is my card following the sketch:

I used this sweet image "Katie's Reading" from Robyn's Fetish. I coloured her in with Tria markers! I then just used some papers from my scrap stash and made up my own sentiment and punched it out!! I liked the clean look of the card so decided not to add anything extra although while I'm typing this I just had a thought that I could have added a couple of apple buttons!
I hope that you can join us this week at Seems a Little Sketchy.
