Colour Combo at Craft Your Passion!

WE have had a very eventful day today... Took my so too the doctors for a cough and left with all three of us on antibiotics and ventolin. Then went to the park and left with my sister going to hospital and my son having xrays and scans on his leg.... So I am just going to chill out tonight and hope nothing else can go wrong.
It is time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we have a colour combo we would love you to use. The colours are Purple, Orange, Green and Blue. WE have a fabulous new sponsor this week:

We were lucky enough to choose an image to create with so I picked Aurora Spring Butterfly. I coloured her with tria markers and added a bit of sparkle to her hair (not that the camera picked it up). I then used papers from my scrap stash, embossing the orange one. I then added the twine. die cut flowers and butterflies , then just randomly added the rhinestones!
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion.
I am entering this into the following challenge:
* Crafting When We Can - No Designer Papers

Apples and Twine at Elisabeth Bell's World.

Another month gone which means time for a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World. This month our theme is Apples and Twine (which I kind of muddled up as you will see on my card) and we are sponsored by none other than the fabulously talented Elisabeth Bell who creates all the fabulous images that we get to create with.
I based the colours of this gorgeous image of Apple Blossom from Whimsy Stamps on the colours of my apple buttons that I had. And I decided to go a bit funky and colour her hair a diffferent colour to the norm. I coloured Apple Blossom in with tria markers and added a bit of sparkle to her hair. I embossed the papers with various embossing folders, then added the buttons, twine (or rafia as in this case I had a total moment and thought this was twine so I do apologise) and the butterflies and rhinestones. I wasn't too sure how this would turn out but I do love it!
I hope that you can join us this month at Elisabeth Bell's World!
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
* Elphine House - An Apple a day
* Time-Out challenges - Stamping with the optional Twist of Apples

Sketch 74 at Seems a Little Sketchy!

Time for a new sketch at Seems a Little Sketchy and this week we are sponsored by

Here is our sketch

 and here is my card
I used Airborne and after a little tweak came up with this design. I coloured the image in with tria markers. Then used papers from my scrap stash. Die cut the arrows and ovals, then added the stars and buttons.
I hope that you will play along this fortnight at Seems a little Sketchy.

I can see Clearly Now at Craft your Passion!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week  the theme is I can see clearly Now so we want to see something transparent on your creation. We are sponsored by
Just Some Lines

Here is my card using Fairy Keisha Free Fall.
I coloured the image in with tria markers. I cut a window out of the card so that I could frame the image with acetate over the top. I then just added all the die cuts and embellishments and it actually turned out better than I had planned.
I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

It's Harvest Time at Craft Your Passion!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week our challenge is "It's Harvest Time". It's a bit topsy turvy for me as it is now Spring here in Australia but none the less I created a cute little card using Doodle Pantry images and papers  as they are our sponsors this week.
Doodle Pantry
As I was trying to play catch up, this image is a pre-coloured image. He is just the cutest owl and I don't think I could have coloured him any better. The brown paper is a digital paper from the set Autumn Critters as is the image and acorns. The other papers are from my scrap stash. I then added the buttons and ribbon and found the green leaves in my flower stash.
I hope that you can join us at Craft Your Passion this week.

Seems a Little Sketchy midway post!

We are halfway through our challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy and we are sponsored by

Here is our sketch

And here is my take on the sketch

I created the the background using all digital papers from Imagine that and the boy is also a coloured digital image which I also backed on to digital paper. The set is Bee Boy and Bees and Sunflower Papers) I then just added the flowers and buttons.
We only have one entry so far so  why not join in the challenge. You have a week to get your entry in.

Digi Bell's Post!

It is my turn to post over on the Digi Bell's blog. I was supposed to post last weekend so I do apologise that I never did due to computer issues. I will make it up though and do another post next weekend. So I have another card using the newest Elisabeth Bell digi - Reading Buddies.
I coloured the image in with tria markers. The papers are from my paper stash. I used a border punch to make the edges look pretty, then added the punched flowers and pearls. Nice and simple design but I think it's pretty.
Thanks for stopping by.

Back to School at Craft Your Passion!

Sorry for the delayed post, I have had to uninstall and reinstall a tonne of stuff on my computer because stupid me listened to someone about downloading files and it corrupted my whole computer.. so I have spent the last two days trying to fix the issues  and have made more for myself by deleting stuff I shouldn't have.... But as a bonus I have started cleaning up my computer and getting rid of stuff I do not use or need.
Oops sorry about that....
A new challenge has started at Craft Your Passion and our theme this week is Back to School. We are sponsored by

The Robin's Nest

We didn't have any specific images to use for this challenge which gave me the opportunity to use one of hundreds of stamps that I have and hardly ever get inked up. So I used Skool Days from Sugar Nellie.
I based the colours on the the books, apple and pencil digi. I coloured skool days in with tria markers, then because I couldn't print out the papers I wanted, I decided to not use papers at all... So I used some ribbon, then added the books and covered them in Crystal Effects, added the twine, then finished it off with the apple buttons. When I uploaded this to my dt blog I realised I didn't have a sentiment. I didn't have that was suitable so I decided to leave it off....
Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you can join us at Craft Your Passion this week.
