Just relaxing in the garden...

...well not me personally as it is absolutely freezing here but Tilda with watering can is in her new garden with some of her feathered friends...she also has some faerie friends hiding who she hasn't seen yet! Which brings us to this fortnights challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey - Our Feathered Friends. Sorry this is being posted a bit late but I was hoping to have it done earlier but it's just been one of those days.
What a response we had to last week's Anything Goes challenge - over 400 entries. Thanks to everyone that joined us!
We are being sponsored by Glitterbabe's Digi's and we were given a few images to work with (I used the bird and the sentiment). This card has been in the making for about a week, and I have been wanting to share with you since I finished it. I decided I wanted to make a little garden scene and it took a little while for me to actually work it out in my head of how to create it.. So I eventually went for a stair step card and this is what I came up with...
This is a front view of the card

A Bird's eye view

Close up garden with hidden faeries

I used Kaszazz cardstock and I just fringed the green to make the grass. I shrunk the gorgeous emerald faerie stamps so that they could be hidden in the grass (that was a task and a half to cut out). I also shrunk the birds so that I could place them in the Penny Black tree. I coloured up the Magnolia House and that's where I stopped for a couple of days!!. I wasn't too sure of what else I was going to do until my new Magnolia's from the rainbow collection arrived. So I stamped out Tilda and the car and reduced them so that they would fit on the card and boy were they the perfect fit!! I then stamped out the flowers from a Stampin'Up  set ( So happy for you) I won awhile ago!! Everything was coloured in with Tria's except for the tree which I chalked and added kindyglitz and rhinestones to! I forgot to write down all the colours I used to colour but if you would really like to know then please feel free to ask and I can let you know!! I then just added the flowers to the front under the sentiment, added crystal effects to all the windows on the car and house and I was done!!! I am so super happy with it and so glad that I am able to finally share it with you!!!
I have decided to enter this card into the following challenges:
* Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Anything Goes
* Claudia and Company - Fancy Folds
* Papertake Weekly - AnythingGoes
* Digi Doodle Shop Challenge - No backing Papers
* Top Tip Tuesday - More than one Fold
