The Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog - GDT - Dazzle It!!

It's time for a new challenge at The Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog and this fortnight we want to see you "Dazzle It". Yep, my favourite - use pearls, rhinestones and glitter!!

I followed the Seems a Little Sketchy sketch using Kaisercraft Papers. I coloured Ebony in with Tria markers and added kindy glitz to her wings and the mushroom. I then made some flowers and stamped a LOTV sentiment on the tag!! Rhinestones were added and the whole card sprayed with vanilla shimmer smooch spritz!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Critter Sketch - Fairy/ Fairies
* Incy Wincy Designs - Digi's Only
* Truly Madly Crafty - Handmade Flowers
* The Squirrel and the Fox - Things with Wings

One for the Boys - Digi Bell's DT!!

If all goes well, this has posted while I'm away visiting friends!! It's my turn to post on The Digi Bell's Blog and today's card features Toot Toot, Li'l Cowboy and Duckie which you can find here in Elisabeth Bell's digital Collection.

All the images are coloured in with Tria markers!! I kept the card simple by using Kaisercraft paper, sticking the images onto ribbon and adding some buttons!! Nice and simple but looks great!!
Sorry for the short post!!

Time for a new PCJ challenge

Hello everyone... Just a quick post from me today!! I am in Mt Dandenong staying with friends for a few days so hopefully blogger has been kind and posted this as scheduled!!
It's challenge day at PCJ and hopefully you have found our new challenge blog HERE!! We are already at challenge #7, where has the time gone? So for this challenge we are being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and we're asking you to use at least 3 patterned papers. This is actually the second card I made for this challenge, the first one I made, I realised I'd not used the 3 patterned papers that I had got out!!
So spent yesterday making this one!!
I already had this Elisabeth Bell image "Happy Mail"from Belles n Whistles coloured up so made things a bit easier!! It is coloured in with Tria markers and glitter pens!! I used Core'dinations patterned papers and paper  from my stash and followed the Sketchy Colours sketch I added some embellishments, made some flowers and butterfly shrinkies.
That's it from me but don't forget to head on over to the NEW Paper Crafting Journey challenge blog to see what amazing creations the DT have got for you!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Belles'n'Whistles - Butterflies

Guest Design Team Member at Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog

Happy Belated Easter everyone.I hope you all had a wonerful weekend with family or friends and didn't over indulge on chocolate too much!! We spent Easter down at my mum's with my family and had our annual Easter egg Hunt!! Mum hides over 1000 eggs and we all race around the house pulling furniture etc apart looking for all the eggs!! The kids have an absolute ball as do us big kids! :)
So a couple of weeks ago I applied for a DT position at The Emerald Faeries Garden and I was asked to be a Guest designer for the next couple of months. As it's school holidays here at the moment and I was away when invited to be a Guest DT I have missed a couple of challenges so this is my first!!!!
There is now a Sketch challenge Blog and this is the second sketch!!

And here is my card:
I used Willy and Mia for my card and coloured them in with Tria markers!! I 3D'd their wings, hats and Mia's Skirt just to give the card a bit of depth but you can't really see it from this photo!! (I might have to go out in the freezing cold and take another photo!!). I used Crate Paper SB paper and used the colours from that to colour the image. I put the card together following the sketch then added some embellishments to finish off the card!!
Want to join in this Sketch challenge? Well head on over to the The Sketch challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT have created and see what you could win if you join in!!
Thanks to all the girls over at EFG for having me!!!

A Tasty Read as recommended by Elisabeth Bell!!

 While I was down at the beach for a few days, I was sitting by the pool side reading Twilight (as suggested by Elisabeth Bell) (and watching the kids in the pool of course) :) and thought that I would make a new bookmark but decorate both sides because otherwise you always have to end on a page that is on the left side for your bookmark to look right!! Not sure that that makes sense but in my head it does.. Anyway, usually when you make a corner bookmark you decorate the front and just the corner on the back of the bookmark but I too this a step further and decorated both sides - did like a mirror image... So I used "A Tasty Read" which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.

It's not a perfect Mirror image because honestly I'm just not perfect!! LOL!!!. I coloured A Tasty Read in with Tria markers and used a glitter pen on the apple. I cut the image out from her sitting on the tree stump and sat her on a stack of books which are from an image that I have cropped from Elizabeth Dulemba's Blog. The paper is from Hot Chocolate and I then just added embellishments!! Not too sure about the sentiment that I typed up and put on the flower but I guess it's ok!!!
Well thanks for stopping by today!!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
* Diva's By Design - Anything Goes

Paper Crafting Journey Inspiration Challenge with JellyPark!!

Hello and welcome to another Paper Crafting Journey challenge!! This fortnight we are sponsored by Claire Keays from Jelly Park.

Jellypark are supporting Little Havens Hospice this year and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these stamps will be donated to the Charity! How fab is that? It's not often you see something where 100% goes to the Charity!

So this challenge is an inspiration challenge and we have this fabulous image to draw inspiration from:

However this photo inspires you is fine with us! It might be the colours, the cakes, the shop... It's totally up to you!!
Here is what I created!!
Sorry the picture isn't that great! I took it last night and today when I went to take another photo in daylight my camera decided to play up so this was the best pic out of the bunch I took!! I uded the colours from the inspiration photo as well as the shop! I used three Jelly park images -  cake shop, bunting and girl and cake!. I coloured them with tria markers and went over all the windows and door with Crystal effects to give it a glass look!! YOu can't really see it in the picture though!! I kept the rest of the card simple so the images could stand out!! I just used cardstock, embossed the green CS, then added the cupcake transparent over the green and to finish off the card, added buttons!!

Before I let you go check out the rest of the DT creations on the PCJ blog I just wanted to let you know that as of our next challenge on the 12th April we will be broadcasting from a new blog... Here is the address http://papercraftbliss.com/thejourney . there is not much to see just yet but why not hop on over there and become a follower now so you don't miss the next challenge!!

Elisabeth Bell's World April Challenge - Shabby Chic/Distressing!!

Wow, can you believe it's nearly April. I can't. It means I'm going to be another year older but I don't really mind!! Anyway, we're not here to talk about my age we're here to welcome a new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World..  This month we are wanting to see your Shabby Chic/Distressing creations using mainly white using any Elisabeth Bell image from any of the wonderful shops she designs for or from her digital store where you will find so many adorable images...
Now I'm not too sure if I covered the Shabby Chic but I definitely went over board with the distressing on my card!! :) And my card stock was white  but because I went overboard with the distressing you can't really tell!! LOL!!
Anyway, you probably just want to see my card so here it is!
This Elisabeth Bell image is from Whiff of Joy from a spring kit a couple of years ago!! I coloured her in with Tria markers and what appears to be yellow is some kindyglitz!! I used Walnut Stain Distress ink to ink around all the edges and to stamp the script image which is a stamp from Kaszazz. I then just added my usual embellishments!! Shabby Chic or Not.. you be the judge!!

Head on over the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog to check out what other gorgeous creations the DT have for you then join in the fun!!!! You won't be disappointed!!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
