Sketch 70 at Seems a Little Sketchy!

A new challenge has started at Seems a Little Sketchy and we are sponsored by

Here is our sketch

and here is my take on the sketch
I used Blossom from Delicious Doodles: I never fully colour these images cos I don't think my colouring would do them any justice so I always just colour one element of the image! I already had this embossed paper so I chose that as my background, then added the ribbon. As simple as that, was a great sketch!
I hope that you will join us this fortnight at Seems a Little Sketchy.

Flower Power!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week the them is Flower Power so we want to see lots of flowers on your creations.
This week we are sponsored by

and we were lucky enough to choose an image to create with. I chose A Special Flower.
I coloured A Special Flower with tria markers, then decided to make it the star of the card so just mounted it on the orange card stock then die cut some flowers. Then finished it off with the Rhinestones.
I quite like the clean look. I hope that you can join us this week at Craft Your Passion.

For the Boys at Elisabeth Bell's World!

A new challenge has started at Elisabeth Bell's World and this month our theme is For the Boys. We are sponsored by Polka Doodles.

I decided to use a stamp that I have had a for a very long time but never inked up.
This sweet little boy is Andrew's Christmas Stocking which was once released by Belle's and Whistles. I found all these wonderful Christmas papers in my stash so played around with them and this is the end result! I coloured the image in with tria markers, then added all the embellishments and the fun sentiment is from Kellie Winnell.
I hope that you can join us this months at Elisabeth Bell's World. I look forward to stopping by your blogs to see your Elisabeth Bell creations... Remember that you can use any Elisabeth Bell image from any of the wonderful companies she designs for including her very own digital collection.

Christmas is coming at Southern Girls!

I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day.... the hours just disappear and I seem to get nothing done. Anyway, no point whingeing about it... lol
Today a new challenge has started at Southern Girls Challenge and this time we are celebrating Christmas. Yep we are getting closer to Christmas believe it or not. Scary isn't it?
We have some fabulous sponsors this challenge

.

We were lucky enough to choose an image from Make it Crafty and I chose Red Nose Roo.
This is such an Aussie image and I had these fabulous Aussie christmas sentiments from Kellie Winnell and it's the first time I've used them so it all fit perfectly!  I coloured the image in with tria markers which I must apologise about because a lot of my markers need replacing. I then just  added papers here and there... Added ribbon, buttons and tags.
I look forward to seeing your Christmas creations over the next three weeks.

Let's Go Fishing with Elisabeth Bell!!

It is time for our monthly Blog Hop at The Digi Bell's featuring a new digi image from Elisabeth Bell. Before I reveal the new image I just want to be sure you are on the right track! You should have arrived here from The Digi Bell's blog which has the list of hop stops so if you do happen to get lost at any time then head back there.
Please welcome to the Elisabeth Bell digi family:
* Gold Fishing*

This image used to be from SCACD so you may recognise it but if you are like me, I had never seen it but fell in love with it straight away! It was a fun image to colour in!

I coloured Gold Fishing in with tria markers. I used papers from my scrap stash, die cut out the image and made a border, then added the buttons, die cut flourish and stars. Once made I decided I needed to added a bit of depth to the image so coloured the boy and fish bowl again and stuck them on 3d foam dots.
Well that is it from me... please make your way over to Linda's Blog now.
If you would like this image now then you will find it in Elisabeth Bell's digital collection or if you'd like a chance to win it then be sure to comment on all the blog hop stops.
