Back again!!

Hi there, I'm back again with another card!! Surprised!! LOL! I am too!! I am loving creating just for fun using images I haven't used yet!  I won some Mo Manning images awhile ago and my boys chose a couple and I chose some christmas one's. One of the boys chose "Dream" and I coloured him up awhile ago but never made anything with him!! Well yesterday I found the perfect papers to use with him, so i finally made a card with him and i'm very happy with the way it turned out!! But you judge for yourself!!

I'm especially happy with my colouring. I used Tria markers to colour him in. The papers are from Kaisercraft (The Little Toot collection) and I then added some embellishments!! I actually folllowed the "Seems a Little Sketchy" sketch which i just moved around a bit!! I've wanted to join in their challenges since it started but just haven't had the time!!
Well I'm off to make another card so will see you again tomorrow!!!
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
* 4 Crafty Chicks - Something New
* Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes
* Little Red Wagon - Something New (I've used new papers)
* My Mum's Craft Shop - Anything Goes
* Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
* Craft Room Challenge - Anything Goes
* Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Goes

New Baby card!!

Hi all!! Wow, can you believe Christmas is over for another year!! My boys really enjoyed Christmas this year especially because they got what they wanted or forgot cos they got other fun stuff to play with!! LOL!!! We are going away a bit over the school holidays and not many DT committments so don't have many cards to make so I am making the most of my free time to make some cards just for me using images I haven't used for ages or at all!!! (there are 100's LOL). Howver this particular one was requested by my sister for a friend of hers who has recently had a baby!!!

I actually kept this card very simple!! The paper is from kaisercraft and all I did was colour in the magnolia baby Tingla with Tria markers and added some distress stickles to the wings! i then just added the ribbon to finish it off!! So simple but so cute!!
I'll be back tomorrow with some more candles to share!!!

Merry Christmas and EBW Dec/Jan Challenge

Before I share my creation I made for the EBW challenge I would just like to take Wish you all a Merry Christmas. All the festivities are over here in Australia  and I am absolutely exhausted but I have had a fantastic day with my family!! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of my wonderful followers for visitng my blog and leaving comments throughout the year! I really do enjoy sharing with you all and reading all your encouraging comments!. I would also like to say thank you to all the generous people who I have won blog candy from this year. I really have been very lucky this year and I have loved receiving all the goodies in the mail.
So back to the reason why we're here!! It's time for another challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog and this time we are challenging you to a game of BINGO! Yep, you need to pick three in a row and make a creation accordingly!
I used the sparkle, twine and chipboard line.

I used this gorgeous new image of Elisabeth Bell's "The Littlest Angel" which you can get here.. As soon as i saw this image I knew I wanted to make an ornament with her and so I did. I used a chipboard circle as the base of the ornament, which i painted white!! I then added the Bahama and white cardstock. I coloured the image in with tria markers and added kindyglitz and glitter for sparkle. I then cut off the stars from the original image that Elisabeth Bell created and added wire and stars (sparkle). I then just added the twine to hang up the ornament )which now has pride of place on my Christmas tree! This ornament turned out exactly how I saw it in my head!!!
Well I can barely keep my eyes open so I'm going to send you to the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog to read more about the challenge, see the DT's gorgeous creations and see what the fabulous prize is that is up for grabs!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Little Little Rapunzel!

I am sitting here half asleep writing this so I'm just going to make it quick. It's my turn to post on the Digi Bell's Blog and today I've used Elisabeth Bell's gorgeous digi Little Rapunzel which you can get HERE.
I must apologise for the photo!! I have been flat out preparing for Christmas that I am a bit behind with DT committments but my New Years resolution is to be organised and on time!! So I will re- photograph the card in the morning in natural light!!
EDIT: Updated photo but not sure it's any better!!

I've actually cheated a bit with this card cos I am so behind!! I made this card ages ago buut never showed it so decided to add Little Rapunzel to it!! I think she is just perfect for this scene!!. I've stamped the tree onto acetate, then used different coloured kindyglitz to decorate  it!! I also stamped the "Enjoy" sentiment oto the acetate!. Rapunzel is coloured with Tria markers and kindyglitz added to her shirt!! I added the rhinestones just to finish off the card!!
Be sure to come back on Sunday for the new Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge.
Well I am off to bed before another busy day tomorrow!!

Craft Your Passions Holiday Havoc Blog Hop!!

Welcome to Craft Your Passion Challenges "Holiday Havoc 2011" Blog Hop!!
We are very excited about holidays and wanted to add to the chaos and havoc.
What better way to do that, than to have a BLOG HOP!!!

If you have hopped over from Helen W, then you are in the right place. If you just happened to stop by and would like to join our hop from the beginning, please go to Craft Your Passion Challenges and follow along for a chance to win some AMAZING blog candy along the way and PRIZES at the end.

All Craft Your Passion DT members are going to be playing along in the hop with some very special guest designers.

Each designer along the way is featuring a project that showcases a digital image from at least one of our amazing Blog Hop Sponsors.
What’s more exciting is you can participate too by creating a project and linking it up over at Craft Your Passion Challenges for a chance to win one of several prizes.

But, there’s a twist. Be sure to visit all the stops and leave a comment (we will be checking). Once you have finished the hop, we would like you to create a HOLIDAY project using at least one digital stamp and enter it with our Linky tool.

While you are hopping, be sure to check out the blog candy the designer's have to offer you. You don't want to miss out on any of it!
I have two cards to show you today. The first is using the Christmas stockings from Crafty Sentiments.
I kept this nice and simple just embossed the base card, added the ribbon, stuck the stockings to the ribbon and added the sentiment which is from a kaisercraft paper pad/ The stockings were coloured in with Tria markers!

This second card is using an Elf and Fairy Image from Stretch and Bubbles.
I coloured the image in with Tria markers and added kindyglitz to the fairy's dress and wings! I used the big shot to cut out some shapes behind the image and also a flourish. The arrow and sentiment are from the kaisercraft paper pad!. I added some kindyglitz and some rhinestones for some bling!

Your next stop is Arielle's blog, to see what she has in store for you today.

Remember, once you have hopped to all the stops and left your comments (we will be checking), it's your turn to show us your "Holiday Havoc" project.

Make sure to include a digital stamp somewhere on your project, and link up your project over at Craft Your Passion Challenges by Midnight CST December 23 to be eligible for the prizes. Winners will be announced on our Monday, December 26th Challenge post.

It's time for the Digi Bell's December Hop...

... and with it comes a gorgeous new Elisabeth Bell Digi to end the year on a high.. Elisabeth really has saved the best for last this year and we are lucky enough to have her hopping with us today!!
If you have arrived from Lynda's Blog where I'm sure she wowed you with her creation, then you are heading in the right direction!! If not then why not head to the Digi Bell's Blog because you will not want to miss a thing!!
So I guess you are wanting to see this adorable image that I'm raving about!! (you've probably already seen it LOL)  Well here it is -
Isn't she just the sweetest thing!! Elisabeth has called her "The Littlest Angel" and of course you can get her from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.
And this is what I created with her:

I know I have used pastel colours again but I really love these colours on Christmas cards!!! I coloured this image in with tria markers, chalks and glitter pens. I added distress stickles to the cloud and wings. To make the card I used papers I won from Shelly Schmidt who ran a blog candy a few weeks ago and used The Big Shot to cut out the snowflakes and the circle and ornate circle around "The Little Angel". I then added the ribbon, rhinestones and buttons and the sentiment from a stamp set I have borrowed!!

So you want to know what you have to do to win this gorgeous little girl!!!
To win the digi you will have to hop through and leave comments on EACH blog, in order to better the chances to win! 2 winners  will be picked from the comments using a Random.org. You will have until DECEMBER 30 at 9 AM to leave comments. The winners will be picked and posted to the Digi Bells Blog on DECEMBER 31, 2011.

The second way to win will be to make a card and post it on the Digi Bell Blog. Using the theme of "CHRISTMAS". You must use a Elisabeth Bell image. This will also end on December 30 at 9 AM Arizona Time and the winner will be posted on the Digi Bell's blog the next morning. (December31)

So continue on with hop and head over to see what gorgeous creation Janiel  has for you.. if you get lost at any stage just head back to the Digi Bell's Blog for a full list of the hop participants! And be sure to head on over to Elisabeth Bell's Digi images to find this gorgeous stamp and all her other adorable images!!Have fun!

Candles and more Candles!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately!! It just comes hand in hand with the Silly Season really!! Lots of catching up to do with friends and family plus on top of that my car broke down and my nan had another fall, so lots of things on my mind too!!
I have been creating though!!! I had my family Christmas lunch on Sunday as my sister and her family won't be with us on Xmas day this year and mum asked me to make placecards for the family!! Well silly me suggested I decorate candles instead with our names on them!!! It took so long but with everyone's help they all came together!!!

I used Mo's Digital stamps Little Elf Finn and Little Elf Pipa!! Coloured them in with Tria markers and added kindyglitz and then typed out the 'Merry Christmas' and names!! Everybody loved them!!

I've also been making candles for teachers present this year and this is the first set that I have made. They were for my Personal Trainer so I typed up "Inspiration" to put on them!!!

I coloured these gorgeous Sylvia Zet images in with Tria markers and added Kindyglitz! I then added the ribbon and twine!!!
So that is what I have been up to... be sure to come back in a few hours and join in with The Digi Bell's Hop!!

I Love You This Much!!

Hi, welcome to my super quick post!!  I'm celebrating Christmas early with my family so things have been pretty crazy around here so everything is getting done at the last minute!! I actually spent this afternoon making a candle as a gift and purposely used an Elisabeth Bell digi so I could kill two birds with one stone, only to forget to take a photo of it so I had to make another one for this post!! So I apologise for the terrible picture!!

I coloured "I love you This Much" which you can get from Elisabeth Bell's Digital collection in with Tria markers, added some kindyglitz, then tied some ribbon around the bottom!!! I'm going to add a poem to the back of the candle for a friend but haven't found the right one yet!! Will do that after the weekend!

Christmas time is Near!!

Wow, the end of the year is getting closer, how quick the year has gone!!! I've celebrated a few milestones this year including my one year blogaversary, massive weightloss and being a part of some wonderful design teams!!  I have been lucky enough to be a part of the PCJ DT for the past 8 monthsin which time I have got to know  all about these amazing, creative ladies from around the world  and I look forward to getting to know them more over the coming year!! I consider them my life long friends!!! :)
So as it is getting closer to the end of the year, everyone is running around busily preparing for Xmas!! So this will be our last PCJ challenge for the year!!! But don't despair we will be back in the new year with more challenges and new sponsors!!!
This fortnights challenge is another easy one "Christmas". We are all in the middle of doing christmas cards or if you're like me, haven't started yet, so I'm sure we'll see a lot of entries for this one!!
We are being sponsored by Meljen's Designs and we had 4 cute images to work with! Thanks Melissa!!!
Meljen's Designs
I had a hard time choosing which image to use so I used three of them to create a little scene!!
Want to see??

Isn't this just the cutest!1 I had the idea in my head as soon as I got the images and it turned out just like I envisioned!! (that doesn't happen very often!! LOL!)  I wanted to make a tent card so that I could get everything onto the card that I wanted. I coloured the images in with Tria markers and added lots of kindyglitz and Distress stickles for all the snow. I used Kaisercrafts Christmas carnival papers and sewed around the edges. And the snowflakes I cut out with a die cutting machine - wow not sure how I survive without one of those!! My good friend Angela has gone away for a couple of weeks but was kind enough to lend me her die cutting machine and die's and I love it!! Now going to have to start saving for one of my own I think!! I never thought a die cutting machine would be much use as I ony make cards but boy I could do so much!!! Anyway, like I said I need to keep saving! So thanks ANG!! I'm going to be using your machine a lot!! :) I then just added some rhinestones to the snowflakes to finish off the card!!
So now that you have seen my card, why not head on over to the PCJ blog (if you haven't been there already) and check out all the gorgeous creations by the rest of the DT!! Then join in, there are some digi's up for grabs!!!
I look forward to popping by your blog to see what you create!!! As this is the last PCJ challenge for the year I would like to wish all the PCJ followers a very Safe and Happy Christmas!!! Patti's Kisses

Wow, it seems like ages since I posted over on the Digi Bell's Blog.. I have been so busy with DT committments that everything has become a blur but I've had a chance to relax and make some cards just for fun which I have really enjoyed... My boys are all ready to start their advent calendars tomorrow, they have been counting down all week!! I think I'm really going to enjoy christmas this year as both boys really understand what christmas is all about now!! we are heading into the city on the weekend to see Santa and have photos taken and to post their christmas wish list letters to santa which the boys are very much looking forward to!!
Enough about Christmas for now, today I have an adorable Elisabeth Bell digi image - Patti's Kisses. You can get her HERE along with all the other adorable digi images!!

Sorry about pics, they were taken inside cos it was too windy today and was sick of fighting with it..LOL! I already had this Patti's Kisses image coloured up so found some papers to go with it (not sure where they are from they were in my stash)!! I decided to make a joy fold card (I haven't made one for ages) and with the paper having such big flowers on it, I felt it didn't need much else so I just added a few buttons and the ribbon.
You still have a few days to create a card for our Anything Goes challenge over at the Digi Bell's Blog so get out your Elisabeth Bell stamps and join in... there are prizes to win!! Head on over HERE for more info!

A Christmas Faerie!!

I have a pretty quiet week this week, as far as DT committments go, so I wanted to join in with some other challenges and make a start on christmas cards and presents plus I have 20 candles to decorate for our xmas table this year!!
So I've left this till the very last minute but I made this card for the Emerald Faeries Garden challenge which is Christmas Green and ends in about 4 hours!!

Sorry about the crooked photo but it was so wet and windy here today that getting a decent photo was a real challenge and one that I failed at I think..LOL!! As you can see it's a very CAS card! I  really just wanted  Isabella to be the star of this card so I just embossed some white card stock and added some kindyglitz for a bit of sparkle. I then just coloured Isabella in with  Tria marker's and used some H2O's on her wings and the present. I sat her on a circle sentiment (sorry have no idea where I got these from but if you know please tell me so I can thank the creator). I also cut the butterfly from Isabella's hand and added a present then hung her form the card on some ribbon. To finish off the card I added the rhinestones!! I really love the way this card turned out and I think I'm going to make all the teachers cards like  this.. :)

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Emerald Faerie Garden Challenges - Christmas Green
* Simon says Stamp - Anything Goes
* Fab n Funky - Anything Goes
* Diva's By Design - Anything Goes
* Going Grey with Scrap Creations - Christmas
* Craft Your Passion Challenges - Tis the Season
* Bizzy Becs November Challenge - Circles
* Totally Papercrafts - Christmas

Last post as GDT at The Crafty Pad

Today is my last day posting as a GDT for The Crafty Pad, so I would like to say a very big "Thank You" to Debbie and all the wonderful DT for having me for the past month! I've had fun creating with all The Crafty Pad images!!
So this week our challenge is Recipe of three's - so you have to use three papers, three brads or buttons and 3 ribbons!! I read this after I made my card so I haven't used those three things but I still followed the 3 theme!! (OOps, sorry Debbie) :) We are being sponsored by Crafty Sentiments

I used two The Crafty Pad images - Holly Mouse Hanging Stocking and Santa HOHOHO and thought outside the square and decided to cut the Ho Ho Ho up and use it as three separate images to make a banner!!
The other things I used three of are three papers From Kaisercraft (the background paper, the tree and the ornaments on the tree) and three stars!! I coloured in the images with Tria markers and used some glitter and glitter pens. And that's it pretty much!
Thank you again to Debbie and the girls for having me for the past month!!!
Now head on over to The Crafty Pad to see what the rest of the DT have created!!!

Elisabeth Bell's World Sketch Challenge!!

Only a month till Christmas and I am still nowhere near ready! I still have presents to buy, cards to make, candles to decorate and the list goes on!! Let's not think about that just yet though as it's time for a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World Blog. And this month we have a gorgeous sketch by the wonderfully talented Lynda!!
Isn't this a wonderful sketch to play along with!! I thought it was and this is my take on it...

This is my new Elisabeth Bell stamp - Daisy which you can get from Elphine House right here in Australia!! I coloured Daisy in with Tria Markers, then added some kindyglitz to the middle of the flowers and on the dots on her jeans!! I used Prima's Jack and Jill papers, added some lace, ribbon, rhinestones  and flowers, then finished it off with this sentiment I found in my very first stamp set I ever bought! (can't remember the name of the company though!!) And I think you can see that I distressed around everything with walnut stain distress ink.

So now it's your turn to create something with this fabulous sketch! There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs including a GDT spot for the January EBW challenge. Don't forget that you MUST use  an Elisabeth Bell image from any of the many companies she designs for including her very own digital collection which can be found here and be sure to link back to that company!! Head on over to the EBW challenge blog for all the rules and more details on the prizes and to check out what the talented DT have created!!
