Make Your own flowers at Elisabeth Bell's World!!!

Another month has passed and already we are in April... Which means I am a year older than last year already... Boy the time is flying passed too quickly.
A new challenge at Elisabeth Bell's World and this month we would like to see you make your own flowers....
I loved this challenge as I feel I have been making the same sort of card again and again so I went back to a time where I used to put a lot of time into my cards.... Now this card may be CAS but I think the flowers made the image pop without taking over.
I used Fashionably Cute which was once available at Sweet Pea Stamps. I think she is just beautiful and perfect for this challenge. I coloured fashionably Cute in with tria markers. I wrapped the ribbon around the middle then made my flowers by punching the flowers out, placing them in water then scrunching them up. I carefully opened them up and put them together with a brad. I had forgotten how beautiful these flowers are and will be making more in the future.  then just added a couple of butterflies.
For all the details of this challenge head on over to the Elisabeth Bell's World challenge blog. Remember that you can use any Elisabeth Bell image from any of the fabulous companies Elisabeth Designs stamps for.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion!!

A new challenge is upon us Craft your Passion and this week we are sponsored by
Digital Delights

I used Karate Kevin for my card and when I found this paper in my paper stash I decided that it didn't need too much more added to it so I just die cut some arrows and added some buttons.
Simple but looks great I think.. well I was happy with it.. lol
Look forward to seeing your creations at Craft Your Passion this week.

Digi Bell's April Blog Hop featuring Elisabeth Bell's newest digi.

Hello and welcome to The Digi Bell's blog hop for April.  Before you continue on with the hop let's be sure you are in the right place.  If you have just stopped by for a look at my blog  but you'd like a chance to win these fabulous images then head on over to The Digi Bells blog to see the order of the hop.... If you have just arrived from Lisa's Blog then you are on the right track.
So by now you have seen our new image..
Birthday Muffin Angel

Who doesn't love a yummy muffin? Maybe I should have put a 4 on the card instead of a 1 seeing as it's my birthday in a few days. :)  I coloured the image in with tria markers then used papers from my scrap stash behind her including the embossed card stock. I cut out a couple of extra cupcakes to put in the corner then I added the buttons, rhinestones and ribbon.
That's it from me but it's now time to head on over to Jeanette's Blog.
This image is now available from Elisabeth bell's Digital collection or you can join in the hop for your chance to win it. Also we have GDT call going on so be sure to submit a card as we would love to see your beautiful creations with an Elisabeth bell image and have you join us on the Digi Bell's DT.
Happy Hopping!!

Patterned papers at Southern Girls Challenge!!

It is time for a new challenge  at Southern Girls challenge and this fortnight we are sponsored by

Ppinkydolls

Lacy Sunshine

Our challenge theme this fortnight is patterned paper... use as much as you can ...
I coloured Rory Life is Grand  from Lacy Sunshine in with tria markers.
I had all these fabulous scrap pieces of patterned paper in my stash, so I literally threw this card together. I added the stars and buttons just to add a little bit more to the card!
I hope you can join in our challenge but be sure to follow our rules which can be found over on the SGC blog.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion!!

Time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we are sponsored by

Lacy Sunshine

I chose to use Rory's Daisy Love
I coloured the image in with tria markers. I am not totally happy with the colouring but sometimes I just have those days where nothing looks right! I coloured the image to match the patteren papers which I had in my scrap stash. I put them together randomly and I actually like how it turned out.. I then just added a couple of buttons and butterflies.
I hope that you can join us at Craft your Passion this week,

Rachel, Little Angel!

I must apologise for my absence lately... I actually missed a post plus my kids have been on school holidays so haven't done any crafting at all until tonight... It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog so I have quickly made this card using things out of my scrap box.. (I must also apologise that I have not linked anything but my son has taken the batteries out of my computer mouse for his torch as he is camping tonight in the backyard)
I coloured Rachel, Little Angel (from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection) with tria markers and added kindyglitz to her wings. I then used papers from my scrap stash, then added all the embellishments..
Thanks for sticking with me, even though I haven't been the best of bloogers.
