1,2,3 TAG You're it at Elisabeth Bell's World!

A new challenge has started at Elisabeth Bell's World and we have a fun challenge for you this month - 1,2,3 TAG You're it! I decided to do another CAS card so that all the elements stood out. You may have noticed that I use this image of Zoe Butterfly (Elisabeth Bell's e-book) a lot. I think because she's so easy to colour and because she just stands out on her own. So I coloured Zoe Butterfly in with tria markers, I embossed the white card with the Happy Birthday words, I used my Brother scan n cut to make the balloons, then added the buttons and bow to finish off the card.

I created this CAS card using this sweet image. I coloured it with tria markers. i then just mounted it on  red card stock, used a border punch around the outside of the white card stock then added the sentiment.

I absolutely adore this new image.. I coloured Em Jay in with tria markers and I can't really take any other credit. I had some old card fronts from kinder and this beautiful flower lattice with rhinestones was on some of them so I thought it would be perfect for this card. That's it from me... Zoe Butterfly!

It is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's Blog. I have been asked by my Niece to make a message book for her 21st birthday this weekend so I decided to pull out my new Brother Scan n Cut and get creative (haven't quite mastered it yet). Well 8 hours later here is the front cover (will put the rest together tomorrow) .....

Apologies for the photo but it's pretty late... I used Zoe Butterfly (a freebie) from Elisabeth Bell's creative e-book. I created the balloon background with my brother Scan n Cut as well as the 21's the sentiment and the scalloped oval. I inked around the sentiment, added rhinestones around the oval added a pearl in each corner and the ribbon down the side. And the baby photo of my Niece to complete the front cover. I hope she likes it.

Anything Goes at Southern Girls Challenge!

It is time for a new challenge at Southern Girls challenge and it's a nice easy theme this fortnight - Anything Goes. We are sponsored by

I decided to make a card without an image this challenge instead getting a bit creative with some techniques I learnt at a craft show last year.

I created the background by inking the white cardstock with a couple of different coloured distress inks.  then placed a stencil over the top and sprayed the cardstock with water which then left the brick work pattern. Then I used the cogs stencil and used black ink to create the top image.To finish off the card I added the buttons and coloured the chipboard letters in with ink and topped it with crystal effects...

Laundry Peeker!

It is my turn to post on The Digi Bell's blog so here I am with a quick post to share with you the newest Elisabeth Bell Dollar Digi - Laundry Peeker. I do have to apologise for my colouring.. I was not using my lamp that helps me see what I am colouring.

I actually recycled bits and pieces from my scrap stash to make this card then added the stars to finish it off... This image is available for the next few days at the bargain price of $1 so go and get it while you can.
