Hip to be Square at CYP

Sorry I have been a bit MIA. It was my Mum's 60th Birthday party on the weekend and I've spent the past couple of weeks preparing for it so I was busy with all that!! But that is all over (and a fun night was had by all) so I'm back and ready to get ahead with my DT committments - starting tomorrow..LOL! This should have been posted a few hours ago :)
So today at Craft Your Passion our theme is Hip to Be Square and we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and Patties Creations!!
We were lucky enough to use Pattie's Creations images so I chose to use Chef Pattieboop..
I coloured the image in with tria markers and twinkling H2O's and added kindyglitz to the oven door. I inked around the edges of the image and added the muffin tray and wooden spoon brads. I cut out 4 squares of the Kaszazz SB paper then just added the ribbon and buttons!!
Head on over to the CYP blog to see what the rest of the design team have created!

  1. Congrats on your successful party for your mom. This card is adorable. Love the little cooking brads and those wonderful purple buttons. beautiful colour palette and colouring.

  2. I like the layout you used. And the tiny muffin tin. Why are tiny things always so cute? I went thrifting today and when I stepped out, there was 12-weeks old labrador puppy waiting by the door. I died. Didn't help my baby/puppy fever at all! Did you notice I'm giving away some Halloween goodies? Please, go and have a peek...

  3. Fab card love the little gadgets used looks great...what's cooking lol?? Thanks for commenting on my blog and I have joined yours as a new member..luv annie

  4. What dahling brads!! They sure fit this card. I love the colors you chose - fun card Alethea!

  5. This is so cute! I have those same brads. Thanks for showing me a way to use them.
