Patchwork Backgrounds!

It's time for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week we would like to see you PATCHWORK BACKGROUNDS. We are sponsored by The Sugar Kissed Cottage this week and we were lucky enough to get some images to work with! I used Picking Flowers:
I coloured the image in with tria markers!! The background was created using already stitched squares from a 12 x12 DP I had! I then just added the Summer Border die and some die cut butterflies! I kept it pretty simple with just the browns and bit of pink!! Wasn't too sure what I was aiming for but like how it turned out!!

    This has such a lovely vintage feel. Your paper mix creates a lovely background for this sweet image. I really like the contrast of the black die cut garden. The little butterflies add great movement and make me smile.
