PCJ Challenge #8 and Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Yes it's my birthday today. My boys woke me up nice and early to wish me a happy birthday and to give me my presents (that I wrapped last night) and the cards that they had made me!! We are going to my sisters for dinner (which I'll probably be at when this goes live) and the boys have both made cakes which I have not seen so looking forward to seeing what they have created!! :) I'm taking the boys to see the Monster Trucks with some of my family on Saturday nighht so my birthday celebrations will be extending over a couple of days as they should be...:)

That's not the reason you're here to visit though is it? Yes it's time for another challenge at Paper Crafting Journey and we are so super excited to be sponsored by the most talented Elisabeth Bell. Elisabeth designs for a number of companies but we were lucky enough to use a couple of her digi's which you can get from her digital collection. Now the theme this week is Vintage and I'm not great with this sort of theme so not really sure if I've captured the Vintage look or not!!! I've done what I thought was vintage though and love how it turned out regardless. :)

I used Elisabeth Bell's "I Love you This Much" and decided to print her out on kraft stock and leave her uncoloured and I actually love the look! I distressed around the edges of everything with walnut stain distress ink and black memento ink, I think this is the first time I haven't added bling, buttons or ribbon!!
Now don't forget that Paper Crafting Journey has moved to a new home HERE. So head on over and check out the new blog if you haven't already and while you there check out what the rest of the DT have created!!!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Simon says Stamp  - Anything Goes
* Whimsy Stamps - Distressing
* Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes + Kraft
* Wags n Whiskers - Anything Goes
